Call Centralized Intake at 540-271-1701. Leave a message. Your call should be returned within 24 to 48 hours. They will refer you to an appropriate agency (including Family Promise of Shenandoah County) which can provide assistance.

We are not equipped to assist families who are fleeing DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. If you are in immediate danger call 911. Otherwise, call the Response hotline at 540-459-5161. Someone is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen and offer information and referrals.
Who is eligible for the Family Promise Program?

Families with children under the age of 18 in a homeless situation.

Families who are free from alcohol and illegal drug abuse.

Families who are free from mental health crisis.

Families who pose no threat to other guests and volunteers.

Families who are willing to abide by the Guest Guidelines.
